Eco Tourism and sustainability at the heart of what we do

As a company, Unique Stays & Experiences has a desire to focus on regional tourism, off the beaten track experiences.  Often our accommodation partners are a base for exploration of the natural environment that New Zealand is so well known for.  As such, almost by accident, a large majority of our clients, the tourism operators listed here, have a strong environmental and sustainable tourism focus.

So we seek to celebrate this and provide context as to how these businesses help to protect and celebrate New Zealand natural resources for the generations to come.

All the clients listed here and with our Unique Eco Logo highlighted on the brochure are doing something, to give pack, to protect and to educate.

For example Whilst our aviation partners may not be an obvious choice of a company that is doing good, South Pacific Helicopters and Wings over Whales both contribute to Moana Mark.  When you fly with us, you’re not just embarking on an unforgettable journey; you’re also supporting the vital research and education of marine life in Kaikōura.

For every whale watching seat sold with Wings Over Whales, $1 is donated, and for each whale watching tour with South Pacific Helicopters, $10 is contributed to Moana Mark.
